Do you love exotic animals such as reptiles, amphibians, tortoises, and unique small mammals? Are you looking to gain some experience that can make you a better keeper or even get you started on an exciting new career?
Canadian Specialty Exotics is looking for a couple of volunteers for exotic animal care. Basic duties start with all aspects of cleaning, but can grow to include feeding, watering, and maintenance care of snakes, frogs, tortoises, geckos, and similar animals.
The skills we’re looking for in you:
- Honesty and trustworthiness
- A sincere love of reptiles and other exotic animals
- A willingness to learn and take direction
- Ability to commit to a minimum of two days a week with up to 16 hours available.
- Experience with exotic animals as pets or in a pet store environment would be a bonus, but is not necessary
