This picture shows Rob holding one of our female Emperor scorpions (Pandinus imperator) with her brood of 8 of CSE’s newest babies clinging to her. Emperor scorpions are live bearers, so these babies did not hatch from eggs. The young will remain soft and translucent while they are in their first instar stage, and will live on her body until they have moulted out of their exoskeletons for the first time, thus becoming second instar. After that, they’ll be ready to live on their own and will be available for sale through our website.
Johnny.
